Integrated membrane and process-piping configuration for industrial water reuse

Project Highlights

  • Hardness, alkalinity, silica, iron, and residual organics are addressed before membrane selection
  • MBR or ultrafiltration can protect downstream separation from suspended and colloidal material
  • Nanofiltration, reverse osmosis, or electrodialysis is selected according to salt-removal and recovery targets
  • Ozone or activated carbon can be evaluated for residual-organic polishing
  • Product-water recovery, concentrate volume, cleaning, and chemical use are balanced together
Treatment Challenge

Treated industrial effluent can still contain variable COD, suspended solids, hardness, silica, and dissolved salts that foul membranes or limit reuse.

Engineering Approach

Our engineers establish the product-water target and full water balance first, then combine project-selected chemical softening or ion exchange, oxidation or adsorption, MBR or ultrafiltration, and desalination stages with cleaning and concentrate interfaces.

How This Experience Helps

Huida can develop a reuse configuration from representative water data and treatability tests, with product-water quality, recovery, operating pressure, cleaning frequency, and concentrate handling confirmed as one design basis.

  • Coarse and fine solids separation plus free-oil separation
  • Reuse requires fluid-condition and production-quality checks
  • Optional concentration control, dosing, and centralized supply integration
Treatment Challenge

Machine sumps can accumulate chips, fines, settled residue, and tramp oil while production schedules limit time for manual cleaning.

Engineering Approach

A mobile or fixed circulation route combines suction, reusable baskets or staged filters, gravity or coalescing separation, and controlled return to the process.

How This Experience Helps

Huida configures the system around your fluid specification, particle distribution, emulsion stability, machine interfaces, and residue-handling route. A sample or site trial can help define the preferred setup.
